Vienna, 2 August 2023: Ambassador Götz Schmidt-Bremme and his US and South African colleagues jointly opened an exhibition on nuclear applications in agriculture and water management in the margins of the PrepCom meeting of the nuclear Non-Proliferation Treaty (NPT). Ambassador Schmidt-Bremme underlined the importance of nuclear applications in achieving the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). Germany supports those IAEA member states who use not nuclear power but nuclear applications.
