IAEA Board of Governors meets in Vienna

Vienna, 11 September 2023: At the beginning of the Board of Governors meeting of the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) Ambassador Schmidt-Bremme stressed the importance of global nuclear facility safety standards and security guidelines. He condemned the occupation of the Ukrainian Zaporizhzhya nuclear power plant by Russia in violation of international law.
